"Yes, Chef" - When you need to move a deal to the next level, but too many "cooks in the kitchen" extends negotiations and leaves participants with a bad taste in their mouth

Playing on the theme of "too many cooks in the kitchen", the panel will discuss NDA scenarios addressing conflict and presenting multiple valid options for how a legal team might coalesce input from many "chefs" (e.g., business team product/technology/subject-matter-expert, HR, senior management, special legal issue) while ensuring key ingredients are included. Who decides what happens next? What if the legal team requires pushbacks to minimize risk but the business team wants to agree to every term to chase a hot deal? When is it time to reconsider positions? Where do parties have commonality and where is conflict a full-stop issue? Why would a chef “give” on an important issue early in the process, or stay firm? How can the legal team lead the "chefs" to a timely and favorable agreement?
