The CBLA is a coordinated effort to strengthen the pipeline of diverse bar association leaders by providing leadership training and professional development programs which will benefit current and future leaders of bar associations, and the legal profession overall.

On June 28-30, 2021, the CBLA is excited to host three panels discussing the origin and purpose of the CBLA, exciting lessons on bar leadership from giants in the profession, and how bar leadership has helped attendee's community, career, and visibility. This panel will discuss what bar associations, bar leaders, and bar members can do to increase diversity on the bench at both the state and federal level, as well as in the administration. It will include discussions on finding, developing, and supporting candidates throughout the entire process. The panel will also highlight steps taken that have been the most effective in creating a diverse judiciary and administration.
